700 handmade 4 x 6 postcards made from index cards, stamps, labels, photo prints, fabric, fur

This installation is a collection of postcards using images and ideas from previous bodies of work. The postcards displayed in racks were to be taken by the audience. The postcards were given away or kept by those who took them as a reminder of a place visited — an occasion. The postcard represents the transient state of traveling from one place to another, or one idea to another. Each card is a souvenir of this transitory state. The racks contained several series of work.
